Deaths in Dundalk - Tuesday 7 August 2018

The death has occurred of Brian Gallagher of Gyles Quay, Riverstown, Dundalk, Louth 

Late of Eircom. Peacefully in the kind and gentle care of the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

Loving husband of Geraldine and cherished father of Gavin and Colin. Brian will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, sons, daughter-in-law Sharyn, brothers Dom, Kevin, and Jim, sisters Martha, Claire and the late Moira, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Dixons Funeral Home, Maxwell Row, Bridge Street, Dundalk on Tuesday afternoon between 5 o’clock and 9 o’clock and on Wednesday between 4 o’clock and 9 o’clock.

Removal on Thursday morning at 10.30 driving to Saint Mary’s Church, Lordship arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock.

Thereafter to Lordship Cemetery for burial. Enquiries to Dixons Funeral Home T 0429334240

The death has occurred of Michael Joseph (Mick) Callan of Lacklum, Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan

Peacefully, in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. (Hall of Fame Inductee and former centre half, Inniskeen Grattans CLG). Beloved husband of Brigid and dear father of Dymphna, Siobhán, Maria and Mick.

He will be sadly missed by his wife. daughters, son, sister Phyllis, sons-in-law Nigel, Stewart and Steve, grandchildren Olivia, Patrick, Niamh and Alex, great-grandchild Emmett, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his parents Margaret and James, sisters Ann, Kitty and Eileen and brothers Ted and Jimmy.

Reposing at Quinn’s Funeral Home, Bridge Street, Dundalk from 5pm-7pm on Thursday, August 9th.

Removal on Friday, 10th, to the Church of Mary, Mother of Mercy, Inniskeen, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Alzheimers Society c/o Quinn’s Funeral Homes.
