Mairead McGuinness, MEP Vice President of the European Parliament will attend and address a special meeting organised by Louth IFA, in The Monasterboice Inn on Thursday 30 November, at 8.30pm.

The Vice President will speak on the vital issue of the future funding of CAP and also cover the present negotiations regarding Brexit and what it could mean for Ireland and the Border Area.

Louth IFA see this as an ideal opportunity to hear first-hand from someone at the very heart of EU Affairs.

They are encouraging all interested to attend and be briefed on two of the biggest issues that will have an enormous impact on the sustainable future for farmers and farming.

Louth IFA have said they are extending an open invitation to all the surrounding counties Cavan Dublin Meath and Monaghan to attend.
