Former Dundalk star Daryl Horgan made his first start for Preston North End a memorable one, having a major impact on the game as his side beat Brighton 2-0.
Horgan stepped up to the mark from the get-go providing an assist, and received a standing ovation as he was replaced after 90 minutes.
Preston went one up after 13 minutes, thanks to a Paul Huntington header.
Horgan helped double the lead, providing an assist to Callum Robinson’s second half goal.
