The death has occured of Alan Boddy, Siul Na Mara, Point Road, Dundalk.

Peacefully in the wonderful care of Carlingford Nursing Home, 10th December 2016. Alan, beloved husband of Sue and dear father of Carole and stepfather of Karl Mullen and Jason Mullen, grandchildren Arianna and Melissa. Deeply regretted by his wife, daughter, step sons, grandchildren, sister Pat, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his home from from 4pm until 8pm on Monday. Removal on Tuesday morning at 10.45am to St. Joseph's Redemptorist Church, arriving for Mass at 11am. Cremation afterwards in Glasnevin Crematorium.

The death has occurred suddenly of Geraldine Burford (nee McKevitt), Speke, Liverpool and formerly of Carlingford, Co. Louth. Funeral arrangement to be annnounced. 

The death has occurred of Peter Martin, Williamsons Place, Dundalk, Louth

Peter Martin, Williamson's Place, Dundalk. Peacefully, at home surrounded by his family, 11th December, 2016. Peter, beloved husband of Bridie (nee Cassidy) and dear father of Geraldine Mulholland, Jimmy, Peter, Lynda Mulligan and Aine Mc Eneaney. Deeply regretted by his wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother John, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relative and friends.

Reposing at his home from 11am on Tuesday morning. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.40am to St Patrick's Cathedral, arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Patrick's Cemetery.

Maura Tuite, Sunday 11th December 2016, peacefully in the love and tender care of the Louth County Hospital, Maura formerly of Newry, Predeceased by her grandaughter Ella, Very deeply regretted by her husband, Larry, son Peter, daughters Katy and Sinead, son in-law Richard Smyth, daughter in-law Ursula, grandchildren Neil, Joseph, Jude, Molly, Sean and Tom, brother in-law Gerard Tuite and his wife Mary, sister in-law Rita and her husband Michael Kelly, nephews, nieces, cousins extended family relatives, neighbours and very good friends

​Reposing at her residence, The Square Blackrock from Monday at 12 noon, Removal on Tuesday morning driving to The Church of Saint Oliver Plunkett, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, Proceeding on foot after Mass through Blackrock Village then driving to Haggardstown Cemetery for Burial.

Mary McDonnell, The Hamlet, Commons Rd., Dromiskin. 10th December 2016. Peacefully at the Louth County Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Mary, predeceased by her husband Paddy and much loved mother of Aine and Eilís, sadly missed by her daughters, grand-daughter Caoimhe, brother Andrew and his wife Frances (Mount Avenue), sister Bridget (Ard Easmuinn), sons-in-law Kevin and Eamonn, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence on Sunday from 2pm until 8pm. House Private on Monday morning. Removal on Monday morning at 10:20am to St. Mary's Church, Knockbridge, arriving for 11am Mass. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Donations please if desired to Palliative Care.

The death has occurred of Mena Hearty (née Carolan)
19 Fr Murray Park, Dundalk, Louth

Peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late David, and loving mother of Linda and Colm. Mena will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her children, grandchildren Davina, Jordan, Laura Jane and Adam, daughter-in-law Melanie, sisters Alice, Delia, Madge and Olive, brothers Michael, Gerry, Pat and Sean, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing her home on Saturday between 4 o’clock and 9 o’clock and on Sunday between 12 noon and 9 o’clock. Removal on Monday morning at 10.30 walking to St Nicholas Church arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock. Thereafter to St Patrick’s Cemetery for burial. Peacefully, at home. Beloved wife of Patsy, precious mammy of Gary and Catherine and adored nanny of Lucy, Sophie, Michael, Pearse, Patrick and the late Robert. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing husband, son, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law Gerry, daughter-in-law Faith, brothers Pat and David, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. 

Reposing at home from 9pm on Friday. Removal on Sunday at 10.40a.m., to St. James’ Church, Grange, arriving for Mass at 11.30am. Funeral afterwards to adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Heart Foundation c/o Quinn’s Funeral Homes.

WARD (nee Byrne) (Dublin and Dundalk) - Dec. 9, 2016 (peacefully), in the wonderful care of all the staff of Oisin Unit, St. Mary's Hospital, Nora, late of Anglesea Road, beloved wife of the late John and loving mother of Dave, Mary (Mero), Paulie, Kevvie and the late Joey and Pete; sadly missed by her loving family, daughters-in-law, son-in- law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the Oisin Unit, St. Mary's Hospital on Sunday from 2 o'c. to 4 o'c. and afterwards reposing at her daughter's residence in Phibsboro from 6 o'c. to 8 o'c. Funeral Mass on Monday at 11 o'c. in Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to St. Vincent de Paul Society.
