EVENTS GUIDE: Dundalk Christmas Frostival

The Countdown is on for what is sure to be the most memorable Christmas Frostival event in Dundalk’s history.
Frostival, the umbrella Festival for Dundalk’s Christmas events co-ordinated by Dundalk BIDS with Dundalk Chamber of Commerce and Louth County Council takes place on Saturday, 26th November.
Thousands of people are expected to flock into the Market Square area on Saturday, November 26th for an historic evening which includes the much awaited Dundalk FC Reception, the ‘Jumpers for Joy’ World Record Attempt and fundraiser plus we get to see the new Christmas illuminations for the Town Centre for the first time.

Dundalk FC Reception
Excitement is building for the Dundalk FC Public & Civic Reception, with Club Players, Management, Club representatives and event organisers looking forward to making the event memorable not only for themselves but the fans who have supported the Club through the lean years and now through the Glory Years.
While no doubt, many fans have been waiting some time for this Public Reception, timing has been essential and it is now taking place as a joint project between Dundalk BIDS, Dundalk Municipal District Committee and with the support of Dundalk FC Management, Players & representatives.

Jumpers for Joy
Traffic restrictions will come into place from 3pm in the Town Centre as before the Dundalk FC Reception, Dundalk is set to hold yet another World Record Attempt, this time by gathering 4,000 Christmas Jumper wearers in the Dundalk Town Centre.
