A Garda raid in the Dundalk area uncovered drugs with an estimated street value of €15,000 this morning.
According to sources a number of cannabis plants and herb along with a sum of cash were seized following a raid on a house on the Newry Road.
The local garda drugs unit long with both uniformed and detective branch officers were involved in the early morning operation.
A 40-year-old man was arrested and taken to Dundalk garda station.
