A premises in Louth Village was robbed by two men armed with hammers on Sunday night.
According to Gardai they made off with an undisclosed sum of money.
It is understood that at about 9.30pm two men entered a shop in the village and threatened staff.
Nobody was reported injured in the robbery.
Gardai are investigating and no arrests have been made.
