The son of beef magnate Larry Goodman has been given the all clear to redevelop a Castlebellingham 'ghost estate' which has been sitting idle for a number of years.
Lawrence Goodman Jnr's Urban Life Developments has been given permission to complete small 'ghost estate' on the northern edge of the village after he and his business partner acquired the site last year.
Urban Life applied for permission for development at the partially constructed "ghost estate" known as Castle Court on Main Street.
The proposed development is for the completion of this "ghost estate" that is within the built-up area of Castlebellingham.
The development will consist of the construction of eight two storey semi-detached dwellings.

Urban Life are also behind the ongoing construction at the Mount Hamilton site on the Carrickmacross Road, which will ultimately become a 179 housing estate.
Last year the company were given conditional planning permission to build a 141 home housing estate on the Mount Avenue, though that decision was successfully appealed to An Bord Pleanala.
Goodman Jnr built a 10,000 sq foot mansion beside Goodman's snr home just outside of Ardee.
