An animal rescue based in Louth has made a public plea for adopters to come forward or a seven-year-old cat will be euthanised tomorrow.
Heidi was rescued by her current owner when she was just a kitten, but has had a "challenging" life as she is deaf.
Drogheda Animal Rescue has been asked to help to find her a new home, as the elderly man who currently owns her is struggling with health issues.
Heidi has started to become aggressive with him, and he is now afraid of her.
No family members can take her, and therefore Drogheda Animal Rescue were asked to help, according to a post by the Rescue on Facebook.

"Heidi has not been socialised with other animals nor humans except for her elderly owner," the post reads.
She will not be an easy cat and will require some extra work and love to make her comfortable in her new home.
If nobody comes forward, Heidi's euthanasia booked for tomorrow morning will go ahead.
If you can help, contact the Rescue on 041 983 2418, email cats@dar.ie, or send a message to their Facebook page.
"If you can extend Heidi an olive branch, please contact us," Drogheda Animal Rescue wrote.
