Recruits undertook a demanding and rigorous course delivered in collaboration with Cork City Fire Brigade
There were scenes of pride and celebration this week as Louth County Fire Service marked the successful completion of an intensive training programme for its newest full-time firefighters.
Over the past three months, recruits undertook a demanding and rigorous course delivered in collaboration with Cork City Fire Brigade. Among those celebrating qualification were firefighters Wayne Hurley, Leigh Ross, Gareth Floyd and Uli Keller, who were commended for their commitment, resilience and dedication throughout the course.
The success of the programme was attributed to a strong team effort, with instructors and crews from across Louth contributing long hours to deliver the training.
