The PSNI say they now believe that the last sighting of missing man Shane McEvoy was on Friday 13th March between approximately 21:00-21:30 within the vicinity of Thompsons yard, close to Circle K near Junction 20 in Ravensdale, Louth

At this time he was believed to be wearing a dark coloured top and dark jeans. He appeared to be walking with a limp and may be injured.

The PSNI say it cannot be ruled out if he has remained in the Republic or returned to Northern Ireland but given the close proximity of this location they are seeking any information of his whereabouts.

In a statement before this latest update the PSNI said:

“Police in Newry are concerned for the welfare of Shane McEvoy who is 38 years old from Newry.

"Shane was last seen on Friday 13th March at approximately 17:00 hours in the area of Old Dublin Road, Newry.
