Met Eireann issues weather warning for Louth
Met Éireann has issued a Status Orange Rain Warning for Louth, joining three other counties.
The warning is in place from 12:00pm until 18:00pm on Friday.
Met Éireann said spells of very heavy rain falling on already saturated ground combined with high river levels and high tides will lead to:
• Localised Flooding
• River Flooding
• Difficult travel conditions
Louth joins Dublin, Wicklow and Waterford under the Status Orange warning.
