The seven-week programme helps women who are hoping to launch businesses
Female entrepreneurs have been encouraged apply for the THRIVE4women programme which takes place in the Drogheda Digital Hub, beginning on February 3rd.
The seven-week part-time programme helps women start businesses by building skills to bridge the gap to the world of business.
Programme Manager Lavina McGahon, said women entrepreneurs often have business ideas but do not believe they have the background to move it forward.
This programme is free and applications are being accepted for the next intake for February 2026. It is a hybrid model of delivery 1-2 evenings a week with in-person sessions taking place in the Drogheda Digital Hub.
It is delivered by experienced professionals who offer one-to-one mentoring for participants.

Pauline Clarke from Kookee, a company that creates a delicious range of cookie mixes to bake at home, was part of the 2023 THRIVE4women programme, she said it gave her the tools to kickstart her journey.
While Joan McCann, Founder of The Code Lab was also a past participant in the programme. She said the programme helped her move in a new direction.
“THRIVE looks at your business from a slightly different perspective, so that really suited me. It looks at your product and your market,” she said.
