The RISE Community Fund has announced a fresh round of cash grants for National Schools in Co Louth.
The fund is part of a nationwide initiative to empower young people in rural communities through technology.
Schools in Louth can apply for funding to enhance learning experiences for children through enhanced broadband and technology.
The fund is supported by National Broadband Ireland (NBI) and corporate partners involved in the National Broadband Plan, such as KPMG and Circet.

David McCourt, Chairman of NBI and the founder of the RISE Community Fund said the fund was created to help rural communities make the most of high-speed connectivity.
"As we look ahead to completing the broadband rollout in 2026, we’re delighted to support National Schools in Co Louth, giving young people in rural communities the tools, skills and opportunities they need to thrive in a digital world,” he said.
TJ Malone, Chief Executive Officer at NBI said through RISE it can support schools in Louth to explore new ways to use technology to enhance education an improve school environment.
He also said the National Broadband Plan is being delivered on time and on budget.
Schools who wish to apply can do so until February 14th at www.riseglobalfoundation.
