An Bord Pleanála gives go ahead for 31 new homes in Dundalk
An Bord Pleanála has granted planning permission for 31 homes on the Dublin Road in Dundalk, after the decision by Louth County Council to grant planning for the development in February was appealed.
V & P Mathews Development Ltd was granted planning permission in February, for a development at Marshes Upper, Dublin Road, Dundalk.
The planned development comprises 31 residential units consisting of one, three storey block of apartment/duplex units, comprising seven two-bedroom units and seven three-bedroom units; and two three storey blocks of apartment/duplex units, each comprising two, two-bedroom units and two, three-bedroom units.
It also comprises a two storey terraced block of houses, comprising seven, three-bedroom units; and two, two storey semi-detached four-bedroom houses. The planning application also provides for items including vehicular/pedestrian access from the Dublin Road R215.
A third party appeal against the decision was made to An Bord Pleanála by Mr Charlie McCann in March of this year. An Bord Pleanála gave the go ahead for the development to proceed on 10 December, subject to revised planning conditions.
