No rail services in Dundalk this weekend

Dundalk Train Station

Irish Rail has said that there will be no train service between Malahide and Belfast this bank holiday weekend, on Saturday, Sunday or Monday, due to engineering works taking place between Malahide/Drogheda and Belfast/Newry.

For people travelling on Enterprise services, bus transfers will operate between Connolly and Belfast, calling at Drogheda/Dundalk and Newry. Passengers travelling to Portadown are asked to change at Newry.

For northern commuter Dundalk/Drogheda services, the following stations will be closed for train services: Dundalk, Drogheda, Laytown, Gormonston, Balbriggan, Skerries, Rush & Lusk and Donabate.

A limited bus transfer service will operate between Drogheda and Connolly, calling at Drogheda/Balbriggan/Donabate/Connolly and between Skerries/Rush & Lusk/Connolly.
