Go ahead given for 34 new homes at Castletown Road in Dundalk
Louth County Council has given the go ahead for a new housing development of 34 homes at the Castletown Road in Dundalk.
Gerard McDonnell applied in April of last year to Louth County Council, for planning permission for the development at Townspark, Castletown Road, Dundalk, comprising a mix of apartments and houses.
The planned development consists of one terrace of six dwellings and two terraces, each comprising three dwellings. It also comprises two semi-detached dwellings and one terrace consisting of four dwellings, two ground floor one-bed apartments and two three-bed duplexes.
It includes two apartment blocks each consisting of three ground floor one-bed apartments and three three-bed duplexes. The planning application also provides for an internal access road, landscaping, car parking, boundary treatments, drainage works and all associated site development works.
A decision had initially been due on the application last June but Louth County Council sought further information on the planned development. Following the submission of significant further information in March, Louth County Council granted conditional planning permission on 12 April for the development.
