There was a great turnout at the Market Square in Dundalk last Thursday evening for the St. Patrick's Scout Group 1st/2nd/5th Louth Good Deeds Collection event.

Along with Scouts from Buíon Setanta Scout Group Dundalk - 5th Louth & 3rd Louth Ravensdale, the scouts from St Patrick's gathered to do a “Good Deed” of collecting food, which will be distributed to those in need by Save Our Homeless Dundalk.

The choir from St. Malachy's Girls School in Dundalk sang Christmas Carols at the event, and there was even a visit from the big man himself, Santa Claus, who turned up to give out gifts to all the very deserving young people.
