'Accident waiting to happen,' concerns over drivers speeding in Louth village

SPEEDING

RECENTLY there have been a lot of drivers speeding through the village, especially in the evenings when it is now darker earlier.


Two years ago, an approach was made to Louth County Council to install speed ramps on all roads approaching the village.


Then money was not available but up to now no progress has been made, but it is felt that it is a situation where an accident is waiting to happen.
