Bringing Magic to Christmas – Drogheda women and Children’s Charity’s Annual Christmas Appeal

Drogheda Women and Children’s Charity launches annual Christmas Appeal

This holiday season, Drogheda Women and Children's Charity (DWCR) is inviting people to join them in making a meaningful impact on the lives of women and children in need.

Its annual Christmas Appeal aims to create a safe and nurturing environment for the women and children it serves, allowing them to celebrate the season in a manner that resonates with them.

DWCR says it believes in empowering its community to create their its magic during Christmas. This year, it is reaching out to compassionate individuals and organisations, seeking financial donations that will be directly provided to the mothers and ladies associated with its charity.

These contributions will enable them to shop for their children and families, fostering a sense of independence and joy during the festive season.

In addition to financial support, it also welcomes donations in the form of vouchers. These vouchers will be distributed directly to the mothers, empowering them to curate their own memorable experiences and special moments for their children.

"We recognise the importance of autonomy and empowerment, especially during the holiday season. Our Christmas Appeal is centred around giving the women and children of DWCR the means to create cherished memories with their families," says Susan Keogh at DWCR.

How You Can Help:

  • Financial Donations: Your generous financial contributions will directly support mothers and ladies in shopping for their families this Christmas. Visit here to make a secure online donation.
  • Voucher Donations: Consider donating gift vouchers to popular stores or establishments, providing the mothers with the opportunity to choose and create their own festive experiences.

Join DWCR in spreading the spirit of giving this holiday season. Your support will not only bring joy to the women and children of DWCR but also empower them to embrace the magic of Christmas on their own terms.
