Dundalk Roads Policing Unit say they were on in Bellurgan on Monday when they spotted a HGV driver holding their phone while driving just before school finishing time.
In an online post they said:
"Unfortunately in an all too familiar scenario we spotted the driver of this HGV holding their phone driving just before school finishing time.
"The dangers of this drivers behavior speaks for itself.
"RPU members will continue to patrol this area until driver behavior changes."
