Another win for Ardee Beauty Businesses

Aoife Claire Durnin, proprietor of Sculpted by Aoife Claire beauty studio on William Street, Ardee scooped the coveted “Nail Technician of the Year” award at the 9th Irish Hair and Beauty Awards 2023.

Having recently celebrated the opening of her beauty studio, Sculpted by Aoife Claire, earlier this summer Aoife's amazing talent shone through at the awards ceremony which took placeat The Crowne Plaza Dublin Airport Hotel.

This distinguished young woman is also an AIT accredited and certified trainer offering globally recognised qualifications in beauty and nail courses locally in her beauty studio in Ardee, Co. Louth and also trains students in beauty and aspiring nail technicians for NSI.

Aoife,speaking about her award, said: “I’m still in shock.

“It’s such a competitive industry and there are so many talented nail technicians working in this space.

“I would like to thank all my loyal clients and everyone who nominated and voted for me.

“2023 has been an amazing year for me and I am excited for everything else I have planned for the year.”

Two other Ardee Businesses also won awards.

Hair by Ellen was announced as Freelance Stylist of the Year, while Luxe Hair Extensions were awarded Hair Extensions Specialist of the Year.

The awards are  a celebration of the best hair and beauty professionals across the country.

The winners of The 9th Irish Hair and Beauty Awards 2023 represent excellence in the hair and beauty industry in Ireland.

They have been recognised for their exceptional skills, expertise, and creativity in their respective categories, including hair salons, beauty salons, male grooming salons, spas, cosmetic clinics, makeup artists, nail salons, and beauty training academies.

A Spokesperson for The Irish Hair and Beauty Awards 2023 said: “Winning an award in this prestigious competition is a significant achievement, as it acknowledges the talent and hard work of hair and beauty professionals and sets a benchmark for others to follow. 

“The winners of these awards represent the highest standards of quality and service in the Irish hair and beauty industry.
