Marshes is preparing to host an animatronic gorilla as part of its ‘Giant Gorilla Escape.’ The free children’s events on Saturday will see the gorilla appear at 12 noon, 2.00pm and 3.30pm
A giant gorilla is set to arrive at Marshes Shopping Centre this Saturday 26 August.
The Dundalk shopping centre is preparing to host an incredible animatronic gorilla as part of its ‘Giant Gorilla Escape.’
The free children’s events on Saturday will see the gorilla appear at 12 noon, 2.00pm and 3.30pm. Its appearance is the centrepiece of children’s events at Marshes this Saturday which also include DJ Anna, face-painting, gorilla colouring in and arts and crafts between 12 noon and 4.00pm.
“The animatronic gorilla provides a captivating experience, and children and adults alike have been stunned by its lifelike movement and interactive charm,” said Centre Manager, Sean Farrell.
“These events are a great opportunity for children to have a super time. We are looking forward to welcoming the animatronic gorilla, but more importantly, the children who will come to see it.”
The arrival of the incredible gorilla follows on the appearance of the animatronic Bjorn the Polar Bear, which drew a huge crowd to see him at Marshes at Christmas.
