Muirhevnamor FC 3 Glenmuir United 3

This six goal thriller saw Glenmuir put a dent in Muirhevnamor's title hopes. Micky O'Kane put the home side ahead on 24 minutes. Soon after Tomiwa Oshohad had the sides level. The Glen's took the lead from the penalty spot on 35 minutes, Kyle Watters scoring to send the visitors 2-1 ahead at half time.

Three minutes into the second half Benjamin Dadan found the roof of the net to restore parity. On 60 minutes Toheeb Agunbiade put Muirhevnamor ahead again and resulting from this score the home sides keeper was sent off.

With minutes remaining, stand in keeper Micky O'Kane saved a penalty to deny Glenmuir a win and keep Muirhevnamor's league aspirations alive.

Carrick Rovers 2 Shamrocks FC 6

Shamrocks returned to winning ways after their McConville Cup loss to Quay Celtic with a big away league win in Carrick.

Deane Brown with his third hattrick this season and a David Ward brace laid the foundations for the victory with Kaylem Casey adding one.

Jose Quintanilla and Conor Martin replied for Carrick. With games in hand, Shamrocks are very much still in the race to retain the title.

Rock Celtic 1 Rampart Celtic 5

Despite playing some lively football at times, Rock Celtic found Rampart to strong and fell to a heavy 5-1 defeat.

Johnny Lynch opened the scoring after 25 minutes. Sean Bailey made it 2-0 before Lynch scored in the 45th minute to give Rampart a 3-0 halftime lead.

Aidan McGuinness made it 4-0 after a goalmouth scramble. Evan Durnin with a great strike got Rock's only score before a goal straight from a corner by Oran O'Hanlon gave Rampart a 5-1 victory.

Bellurgan United 3 St Dominic's 4

A well taken goal by Greg Shannon on 45 minutes was all that separated the sides at halftime.

Ten minutes into the second period Joe Dunne rounded the visitors keeper to level matters. A great shot from Kyle Carroll restored the Saints lead on 57 minutes. Greg Shannon grabbed a second goal leaving the visitors 3-1 ahead.

Conor Mackin saw red shortly after, reducing the visitors to 10 men. Almost immediately Greg Shannon completed his hattrick, sending his team 4-1 ahead.

The loss of a player soon began to show as Bellurgan rattled in two goals to leave just a single score between the sides at the final whistle.

St Dominic's stretched their lead to four points over second placed Muirhevnamor with four games to play. Bellurgans late goals were scored by Darag Brady and Brady Duffy.
