Council condemn "wanton vandalism" as public toilets in Louth are damaged

Louth County Council have condemned what they say was "wanton vandalism" carried out in the public toilets in Clogherhead over the weekend.

The cubicle was found in disarray with mirrors pulled off the walls and shattered glass strewn on the floor.

In a statement the council said that:

"The toilets in Clogherhead were damaged in an act of wanton vandalism over the weekend with the mirrors pulled off the wall and smashed in the cubicles.

"These have since been cleaned by the Council crew and the toilets are back open to the public."
