John Keenan and Fiachra Judge, CúChulainn Ardee, talking to Emma Crosbie of CúChulainn Wexford at the end of the competition
CúChulainn Archers has recently started a new branch of the club, with CúChulainn Wexford starting off during the spring and now at the stage of to hosting competitions so CúChulainn Archery, Ardee travelled to Wexford to help and compete.
While also primarily a Target Club, this first competition was actually a Field Competition, where archers walk from target to target, scoring on different sized target faces at different distances. Some marked distances and some needing your best guess.
CúChulainn members from Ardee joined archers from other clubs and, of course the members of CúChulainn Wexford for this two day competition.
The founder members of the club in Wexford were also the founder members of the club in Ardee and are hoping to keep the connection going, with members of both clubs coming together regularly to compete and to socialise.
The competition was a two day event and the results for the all the CúChulainn members are as follows:-
Men's Compound
2nd Place Fiachra Judge (CúChulainn Ardee)
