STABANNON PARNELLS 0-14 GLYDE RANGERS 1-6
Stabannon Parnells went joint top of the Division 3A table with a professional win over Glyde Rangers in Tallanstown on Saturday afternoon.
With league leaders Oliver Plunketts playing later on and then slipping up that evening, Parnells applied enough pressure by winning on their side of things after the earlier throw-in.
Harry Butterly returned to the winning side with style and his accuracy from placed balls would be the difference between last year's Junior finalists.
Although Ciarain Sheridan notched a goal in the second half, managerless Glyde would just come short in the finish by two points.

NH FIONNBARRA 1-13 OLIVER PLUNKETTS 1-5
Naomh Fionnbarra recorded an excellent win in Division 3A over table toppers Oliver Plunketts at John Markey Park, Ballygassan last Saturday evening. The win was the hosts’ first league win in John Markey Park since 2019.
Despite a bright start from Kristian Nolan frees, Plunketts trailed 0-5 to 0-3 at half time. With the wind at their backs for the second half, the Togher men sprang out of the blocks as they hit six points in a row without reply.
With Ciarán Markey in his pomp the hosts took complete control of the game. Conor Osborne then struck for the clinching goal after an excellent team move to put the game to bed.
The Plunketts hit back with a Dean Carolan penalty and followed it up with another free to reduce the lead somewhat, but the Barr's men held out impressively and didn't concede a score from play.

NA PIARSAIGH BLACKROCK 5-8 WOLFE TONES 2-9
A second half not many had seen coming round the Rock Road saw Na Piarsaigh Blackrock pick up a vital win at home over Wolfe Tones last Saturday night.
The game exploded into life in the second period after what can only be described as a dour first half showing. With the score standing at three points apiece at the interval, seven goals were to follow after the break.
All five of Na Piarsaigh’s goals came in a thundering four-minute spell. First from the spot by Mark Larkin, then a David Boyle hat-trick topped off by Tommy Muckian.
Stunned Tones fought back bravely but despite Jordan Duffy and Rory Taaffe finding the net, they would be only mere consolations in the finish.
