We are just a year out from the next Olympic Games and somebody eager to make an impact next Summer is local boxer Amy Broadhurst.
The Muirhevnamore native has already been successful at the Commonwealth, European and World Championships, but will be keen to book her ticket at the Games in Paris as it is the last milestone she has yet to reach in what is fast becoming a glittering amateur career.
But being amateur means there is less money to be made, with Irish prospects relying on Sport Ireland grants and sponsorship opportunities to allow them to train full time and be at their best prior to every event they enter.
Helping Amy on her journey is O'Connor Roofing Supplies, a company based in Lordship that has come on board to help make her sporting dreams come true.
Amy was over at their headquarter last week to launch this partnership, alongside some of their staff.
Below is a selection of pictures taken at the launch by Democrat photographer Arthur Kinahan.
