6th Year student Portia Quaye
There was success for Dundalk's Coláiste Chú Chulainn at last week at Newry Feis, with one of its students taking first place in the poetry competition.
Sixth year student Portia Quaye participated in the poetry competition, reciting WB Yeats’ famous work, The Host of the Air.
Portia was praised by adjudicator Maeve O’Donoghue for her beautiful interpretation of the poem and was awarded first place for her recitation, beating competition from schools across Louth, Down, and Armagh to do so.
Congratulations to Portia for her wonderful achievement.
