123.ie, the national partner to Athletics Ireland, have announced an exciting new offer which will see Louth athletics clubs directly benefit when their members avail of 123.ie car insurance.

Athletics Ireland members will receive €50 off their own car insurance via 123.ie when using a unique club discount code. 123.ie will then donate an additional €50 back to the respective club for each insurance policy sold using the discount code.

The ‘Give better a try’ Irish insurance company is fully committed to backing Irish athletics from the grassroots and club network, right up to Ireland’s top athletes and they currently giving funding to the likes Dundalk sprinter Israel Olatunde as well as other top Irish prospects.

“Since we started working with Athletics Ireland last November, we’ve made no secret of our desire to help and support athletes of all levels to be the best they can be" exclaimed Elaine Robinson, Managing Director of 123.ie.

"We’ve made a commitment to supporting not only our international athletics stars, but also the clubs and wider athletics community who are the driving force behind the sport in Ireland. Athletics is Ireland’s most inclusive sport, and we are delighted to be giving back to athletics’ communities across the country."

Club discount codes have been sent directly to all club secretaries for distribution. Each discount code is specific to a club. The use of these unique codes will determine which clubs are awarded €50 for every 123.ie insurance policy sold, and will be paid out quarterly by Athletics Ireland.
