The prize winners in the 18 Hole Stableford sponsored by McCormack’s Pharmacy, alongside lady captain Briege Renaghan
Padraig Fallon went lowest in the latest round of the SuperValu Series which was played over the last weekend of March.
Playing off 17 he shot a fabulous score of 47pts that included six three-point pars on the front nine and five three-point pars on the back nine as he went out in 24pts and came home in 23pts, with the highlight being a birdie three for four points on the final hole.
Fallon won Category 3 by two points from Simon Ryan (19) while Damian English (11) shot 46pts to win Category 1 by five points from Aidan Lawless (4).
Trevor Giff (12) posted a score of 44pts to take Category 2 by two points from Dermot McKenna (16) while Paul Culligan (3) had the weekend’s third best score as he shot 45pts to win Category 4 by two points from Andrew Shekleton (22). Congratulations to Aidan Rice who aced the par three fifth.
Entries are now open for the Men’s Foursomes and Mixed Foursomes Club Competitions. The Entry fee is €10 per team and entries can be placed in box at the bar.

DUNDALK LADIES
The ladies 18-hole stableford played on Saturday March 25 and Tuesday March 28 was kindly sponsored by McCormack’s Pharmacy.
There was great scoring in all divisions. Mairead Ahern returned the best score of the competition to win Division 3 with a super score of 45 points. This was six points clear of her nearest rival, Gráinne Gallagher.
There were excellent scores in the other divisions also. Gillian McDonnell, playing off 11, won Division 1 with 40 points. Mary Laverty was the Division 2 winner with 36 points. Very well done to all prize winners and many thanks to McCormack’s Pharmacy for their very generous sponsorship.
