Award winning crime writer comes to An Tain book club

An Táin Arts Centre welcome multi-award winning crime writer Michael O’ Toole for a Q&A with book club members in The Townhouse Bar & Restaurant at 8pm on Thursday 30th March.

Members of the book club are currently reading his crime novel Blacklight.

Blacklight tells the story of Detective Sergeant John Lazarus, who is haunted by the murder of his sister and scours the streets of Dublin chasing down the men who have surrendered to the darkness inside them.

Lazarus finds himself in a desperate race against time to save a young girl from the mob and catch a monster – all the while fighting the most important battle of his life: the battle inside his own head.

The book club is free and open to everyone.

Mary Claire Cowley, Audience Development Manager at An Táin Arts Centre says:

“We’re very excited to welcome Michael O’ Toole to partake in a Q&A with our readers. He has had a fascinating career and I’m sure they will have lots of questions for him. It’s sure to be a very interesting and enjoyable evening.”

This book club is aimed at adults, is free to attend but registration is required to participate. Members are encouraged to contact their local library, to obtain a copy of the book, or contact Roe River books.

Visit www.antain.ie to register and become a member of the book club.
