The Louth Footballers will have to overcome an inform Offaly if they are to make it to a first O'Byrne Cup final since 2009.
The Faithful County earned their spot in the semi-finals following a win last night away to Dublin, 0-11 to 0-8. However it must be said that this was essentially the home side's third string.
Displaying a huge work ethic and showing great character, the visitors were full value for their three point win in Parnell Park. Leading by 0-5 to 0-3 at half time, they kept their noses in front throughout the second half and were definitely the better team.
Dublin were poor on the day, never generating true momentum or having extended spells of dominance, but a lot of that was down to Offaly's work rate, their tackling and ability to turnover ball. This continued right to the end as Dublin chased a match saving goal.
Their reward is a date with the Wee County this Sunday afternoon in St Bridget's Park, Dowdallshill (Throw in 2PM).
Louth will be the fresher side, having decided to give Wexford a walkover in the final round of Group A fixtures. They were already through before the tie, having accounted for Westmeath and Kildare.
They will have had a week to prepare for the contest, whereas Liam Kearns charges will be playing in their third game in the space of nine days having played the Dubs last night and hosted Wicklow last Saturday.
