New housing development planned for Carrick Road in Dundalk

Plans are underway for new housing in Dundalk, with a planning application lodged this week with the local planning authority, for a small housing development at the Carrickmacross Road.

Thomas Agnew & Sons Ltd has applied to Louth County Council for planning permission for a development at Deer Park, Lisnawully, Carrickmacross Road in Dundalk.

The proposed development comprises five, two-storey houses and a single storey dwelling house,

The planning application also provides for all ancillary works and site works along with alterations to existing an foul sewer on site and connections to all public services.

A decision is due on the application, which is at a pre-validation stage, by 23 September, with submissions due by 2 September 2026.
