Tony’s Pizzeria on Park Street, Dundalk, has been crowned Takeaway of the Year at the Irish Takeaway Awards 2026. The popular family-run business also took home Pizza of the Year for the third consecutive year and Best Fish and Chips, cementing its reputation as one of Louth’s favourite food spots.
The awards ceremony, organised by NI Media, was held on Tuesday, 27 January, at the Fairways Hotel in Dundalk. Owner Vincent Del Duca celebrated the achievement alongside his family and staff, joining takeaway representatives from across Ireland.
Reflecting on the win, Vinny said:
“We were already over the moon after winning two awards — some of the team were putting their jackets on to head home, while others were at the bar for another round — so hearing our name announced as overall winner was a total shock and an incredible ‘we made it’ moment we never imagined!”
