Adjustments have been made to help ease congestion in the Bridge Street and Newry Road area
Louth County Council have announced that following a review of the current Temporary Traffic Management Plan (TTMP) linked to ongoing works on the north side of Dundalk, adjustments have been made to help ease congestion in the Bridge Street and Newry Road area.
To alleviate serious traffic congestion, the appointed contractor, Glas Civil Engineering Ltd, has made the following changes, which came into effect today, Wednesday, 11 June.
These works, which are expected to continue for approximately two weeks, form part of the St Nicholas Quarter Regeneration Scheme and involve upgrades to footpaths, road surfaces, and underground services.

Louth County Council said: "[We] would like to thank the public for their continued patience and cooperation while these important works are carried out.
"We understand that the delays have caused frustration for many, and we apologise for the inconvenience caused."
