Nursing and midwifery students at DkIT were recently visited by the V Rev. Fr Mark O Hagan PP and the Revd. Canon Joyce Moore for the ‘Blessing of the Hands’ ceremony.

During this symbolic ceremony, each student had their hands blessed in preparation for their 36-week clinical Internship which begins in January.

The ceremony marked the end of the students’ theory modules in DkIT and the beginning of the next step in their careers, and was a recognition of the amazing work they will do providing care.
