Deaths in Dundalk - Tuesday 27 June 2023

The death has occurred of Josephine FINNEGAN (née Flood) Barrettstown Lawns, Newbridge, Kildare / Dundalk, Louth

Peacefully in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of Curragh Lawn Nursing Home. Predeceased by her loving husband Hugh. Sadly missed by her loving sons Colin and Leslie, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brother and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Anderson & Leahy's Funeral Home, Newbridge, Co Kildare on Tuesday from 4pm with removal that evening at 6pm to arrive at St. Conleth's Parish Church, Newbridge for 6.30pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11am. 

Reposing thereafter on Wednesday evening from 5pm until 7pm at her sister Majella's residence - 184 Oaklawns, Marshes Lower, Dundalk, A91 R2W7. Removal on Thursday morning at 11am to arrive at the Mortuary Chapel, Dowdallshill, Dundalk for prayers at 11.30am followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining St. Patrick's Cemetery, Dundalk, Co Louth.

The death has occurred of Raymond NORMAN Upper Faughart, Dundalk, Louth

Peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Predeceased by his parents Iris and Freddie, brother Freddie and son-in-law John. Beloved husband of Bridget (Breege), loving father of Miriam, Sandra, Lorraine and Alan and a wonderful father figure to Sarah. He will be so missed by his sorrowing wife, daughters, son, grandchildren, sisters Barbara and Joyce, brother Noel, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing in the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Bridge Street, Dundalk (Eircode A91 KW52) from 2pm to 8pm on Tuesday, June 27th. Removal from the family home on Wednesday to the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Brid-a-Crin (Eircode A91 W308), arriving for Funeral Mass at 2pm. followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

House strictly private on Wednesday, please.

The death has occurred of Dolores ROGERS (née Ferrie) Lennonstown Manor, Dundalk, Louth / Whitehall, Dublin

Dolores Rogers (née Ferrie). Monday 26th June 2023. Peacefully at her home. Dolores, beloved wife and best friend of John and dear mum of Collette, Éamon, Eoghan and Clare. Predeceased by her parents John and Bridie (late of Whitehall, Dublin).

She will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband, sons, daughters, brothers Sean and Tony, sister Margaret, daughters in-law Nicola and Caroline, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers in-law, sisters in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Shevlin's Funeral Home, Barrack Street, (eircode A91 Y3 CX) from Tuesday afternoon 5pm to 8pm. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.50am to Glasnevin Crematorium Dublin arriving at 12 noon for a Celebration of Life service that can be viewed on the link below.

House Strictly Private by Family Request

No flowers please. Donations if desired to The North Louth Hospice.

The death has occurred of Sean Toal Chester, England and late of Oliver Plunkett Park, Dundalk, Louth

Peacefully in Chester, England. Predeceased by his parents John & Margaret and brother Brian (Dublin). Sean will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his sons Ian & Sean, daughter Helen, brother Leslie (Dundalk), sisters Mairead Norton (Blackrock) and Maria White (Bellurgan), extended family, friends, neighbours and by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral will take place in England.
