Dundalk darts | Reynolds rolls back the years

Jonathan Smith of Uncle Tom's Cabin

Week seven of the Heineken-sponsored Dundalk and District Dart League took place last Thursday night.

In the Northend Bar, The Bully's hosted Courtney's. Anthony Reynolds was rolling back the years and got the home team off the mark before Mervyn McCaffrey hit a number of 100+ scores to put the Bully's 2-0 up.

Nathan Munro (Player of the Match) pulled one back for Courtney's before Ciaran Dunne came from a game down to win 2-1 and leave it 2-2.

Kieran McCrave then put the Bully's 3-2 up before Joanne O'Shaughnessy (Player of the Match for the Bully's) sealed the win in the last game to give the Bully's a 4-2 win. Also in Bridge Street, The Bodhran Rebels hosted Callans HBX.

Trevor Doyle put the hosts one up before Callans got back into the game with wins for Gabriel McKenna and Rodney McLoughlin, but unfortunately, that was as good as it got for Callans, as wins for Paul Watters, Fra Dillon and Liam Hoey gave the hosts a 4-2 win.

Meanwhile, out in Blackrock, the Sparrows hosted the Commercial Club. John Rafferty put the visitors one up before Jack Hanlon restored parity.

Aaron Coyne put the Commercial Club back in front before Wayne Fry levelled things up again. Niall Hinchey and Ciaran Treanor (P.O.T.M) won the last two games to give the Commercial Club a 4-2 win.
