Dundalk FC have confirmed the departure of first-team coach Liam Burns.
A statement on the club website reads: “Dundalk FC can also confirm the departure of Liam Burns from his position as first-team coach.

“A former player and captain of the club, Liam had two stints at Oriel Park during the Premier Division campaigns of 2009 and 2012, before moving into community and coaching roles in recent years. He also stepped in as interim manager of the first team during 2024.
“We would like to sincerely thank Liam for his commitment and service to Dundalk FC and wish him the very best in his future endeavors.”
