Bellurgan United vs. Muirhevnamor FC: Venue: Oriel Park. Date: 21.9.24. Kick-off: 7.30 pm. The Jimmy Clancy Cup final will take place on Saturday, 21st September at Oriel Park. Kick-off at 7.30 pm.

McConville Cup, quarter-final

St. Dominics A-A Rampart Celtic: Venue: Friary Field. Date: 3.9.24.

After sending a St.Dominics player off the referee refused to listen to any more abuse and abandoned the game after 25 minutes. Aidan McGuinness had given Rampart a 1-0 lead after 10 minutes of play.

The league now awaits the referee's report from the assessor who was also in attendance at the match as to what future action may be taken.

Muirhevnamor FC P-P Shamrocks FC

Venue: Muirhevnamor. Date: 3.9.24.

The match was called off due to a bereavement connected to the Muirhevnamor club.

Carlingford Celtic H-W Square United

Venue: Foy Centre. Date: 31.8.24.

Carlingford United celebrated in style last Saturday, winning the First Division, which had last won in the 2007 season.

In front of a huge crowd, they sang, danced sprayed champagne, and sent flares, leaving green trails towards the evening sun.

The fun continued to their sponsors, Taffes - a great reward for all connected to a fine club. Bellurgan United finished second in a riveting league battle.
