Eight new Gardaí assigned to Louth station

Eight new probationer Gardaí have been assigned to a Garda station in Louth as they begin their policing careers.

Superintendent Ronan Farrelly welcomed the eight new recruits to Drogheda Garda Station, where they will undertake duties as part of their probationary training.

The new Gardaí will work alongside experienced colleagues while gaining practical experience serving communities across the area.

14 new Gardaí have been assigned to Louth after graduating from Templemore in July.

“We wish them every success in their future careers,” An Garda Síochána Louth said.
