House and car windows damaged in Louth vandalism

It is understood that the windows of both a house and a car were damaged during the incident.

Gardaí are investigating an incident of criminal damage that occurred in the Cherrymount area of Drogheda.

According to Gardaí, a report was received at approximately 4.30pm on Saturday, 31st January. 

It is understood that the windows of both a house and a car were damaged during the incident.

Gardaí have confirmed that investigations are ongoing and are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has any information to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Drogheda Garda Station on 041 987 4200 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.

A Garda spokesperson said in a statement: "Gardaí received a report of criminal damage at Cherrymount, Drogheda, Co Louth, which occurred at around 4:30pm on 31st January 2026.
