Woman taken to hospital following Louth crash

The driver of one of the vehicles, a woman in her 30s, was brought by ambulance to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital as a precaution

Gardaí are investigating a two-vehicle collision on Knockbridge Road, Dundalk, which left one person injured and resulted in a man’s arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Gardaí attended the scene of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Knockbridge Road, Dundalk, shortly before 7:00pm yesterday evening (15th January).

The driver of one of the vehicles, a woman in her 30s, was brought by ambulance to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital as a precaution.

The driver of the other vehicle, a man in his 30s, failed a roadside test and was arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of an intoxicant.
