A number of vehicles were seized by Gardaí in Drogheda over the weekend after being stopped at crime prevention checkpoints.

According to a post by An Garda Síochána Louth, all of the vehicles were seized under Section 41 of the Road Traffic Act, which allows Gardaí to confiscate vehicles being driven without insurance.
