A man has been arrested after heroin valued at over €24,000 was seized from a residential property in Dundalk.
Gardaí attached to the Dundalk Drugs Unit conducted a search of the property on Saturday, September 27.
It formed part of their ongoing investigations into the sale and distribution of illegal drugs and associated criminal activity.
During the course of the operation, heroin with an estimated street value in excess of €24,000 was seized, along with €1,120 in cash.

The suspected drugs have been sent for analysis by Forensic Science Ireland (FSI), which is currently pending.
A man in his 20s was arrested at the scene and is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at a Garda station in County Louth. He remains in Garda custody.
