The Drogheda Roads Policing Unit stopped a vehicle on the M1 recently after it was recorded travelling at 140km/h.

Louth Gardaí discovered that the driver was a provisional licence holder and was driving without a full licence, insurance, tax, or an NCT.

The vehicle was seized, and court proceedings are expected to follow.
