Multiple vehicles damaged in overnight Louth fire

The scene remains preserved pending a technical examination, and Gardaí have confirmed that enquiries are ongoing.

Emergency services responded to a vehicle fire in the Mountpleasant area of Louth in the early hours of this morning.

Gardaí and fire crews were alerted to a number of vehicles on fire on the old Newry Road at approximately 1:30am.

The blaze was subsequently brought under control by local fire services.

No injuries were reported.

The scene remains preserved pending a technical examination, and Gardaí have confirmed that enquiries are ongoing.
