Gardaí launch investigation into violent dispute in Louth

Gardaí in Co Louth are investigating an incident of violent disorder in Drogheda on Monday, 17th February, 2025.

The incident occurred at approximately 6:50pm outside a premises on Newfoundwell Road where a number of people had gathered and became involved in a physical dispute.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident and to any persons who recorded this incident on their mobile phone to come forward.

Gardaí are also appealing to any road user travelling in the vicinity of the Newfoundwell Road between approximately 6.30pm and 7pm, who may have dash-cam footage, to make this available to them.
