A 61 year old man who urinated on a cell door at Dundalk Garda Station has been sentenced to a month at the local district court for criminal damage.

Brian Reilly of no fixed abode, Clonmel, Tipperary was also charged with being intoxicated in a public place and failing to provide his name and address to Garda at The Long Walk, Dundalk on October 15th last.

The Defence solicitor, who said his client wished to apologise for his behaviour, explained that Mr. Reilly travelled from Dublin to visit his daughter and had been drinking on the train.
